The recent assassination of United Health CEO confirms Piazza’s conclusion “I find that hate speech by politicians is a significant, substantive, driver of domestic terrorism." Studies (Hodwitz & Massingale; Piazza; Nacos, Shapiro, Bloch-Elkon) consistently indicate a correlation between Trump’s hate speech and the increase of violence in the USA. Most horribly, 800+ children-teenagers killed in US school shooting (excludes colleges). In 2024 CNN cites “82 school shootings”. Worst there are 73+ school shootings as well as 610+ "mass shootings" for last 4 consecutive years & an epidemic in physical assaults on teachers - 1 in 10 teachers. It is distressing to me many American leaders don’t seem to care. Visitors from the Philippines declined from over 400 to 29.
