Conference: Privacy Matters. How Interiors make and break our Cities

    Time: 20 Apr. – 21 Apr. 2023

Place: The Royal Danish Academy Organizer: The event is a joint venture of the Centre for Privacy Studies, University of Copenhagen and the Royal Danish Academy – Center for Interior Studies, the Royal Danish Academy – Spatial Design (MA programme) and the Royal Danish Academy – Urbanism & Societal Change (MA programme).

The conference will examine links between cities, the built environment, the private and the public, the interior and the exterior, and between social and political processes and urban transformation over two days of talks. The two-day event will consist of a series of sessions, with three occurring on the first day and two appearing on the second day – each assigned a unique theme tying it to the overarching narrative of the conference, which will be explored through readings, debates, conversations, and video projections.
